have you corrected or worked on any issues you had when you were younger?

Re: do you think you've evolved as a person
I was a huge push over back in the day and really naive. Got me in a lot of trouble as a teen/young adult let a lot of less than safe people enter my life. I don’t think it’s evolving as much as learning some fucking common sense and to read red flags better.

Yes but the evolutions have happened far too late. I should have had better direction sooner in life so I could have made the appropriate career choices.

Re: do you think you've evolved as a person
I’ve actually given this a lot of thought lately and yes, I believe I have worked on and corrected several wrongs within myself in the last few years.
My problem had to do with a certain level of arrogance and attitude. And being a true gloryhole era teen, things always had to be either/or. No middle ground. My whole social circle back then was pretty much the same, so getting of the high horse didn’t really seem necessary.
Getting older, I started to realize that these traits were probably holding me back, career wise.
Obviously, marriage and fatherhood will force one to make adjustments to your own needs and wantings. Or make it easier to do so, I’m not really sure
About maybe 5-6 years ago I finally started to really work on becoming a more welcoming and understanding person. I’ve always been that way inside my home and family, but maintained a cold narcissistic attitude towards most others.
I am happy to say that said changes have done wonders for my social skills and management capabilities

I have iron discipline compared to the old days. I still need a push, anything I want to do for myself it's not much

I don't get into fights anymore, or at least try and avoid those situations.
Everything else is as you were, being recently diagnosed as autistic. So that has made a lot of things more sense.

Re: do you think you've evolved as a person
I don’t have a problem with her, some in the community do. Autism is a spectrum and affects everyone differently. Her experience is hers.
I think folks forget communities don’t have to be monoliths.
