i was quite meticulous

anyway now the controller has been put in the vault until the research for this new book is over. i wish i could have beaten it in the last two months but i just couldn't give it the time apparently ... 160 hours was not enough

ehh, if you can reach fire giant you can bumrush the end of the game in an hour

though i suppose that does require familiarity with the route through farum azula. assuming one has no interest in haligtree and such as well, so on and so forth

yeah, no doubt but for first play through, there is quite a bit left to digest

when i did NG 2 3, after fire giant it was game over

im not doing haligtree ever again :greenie:

so it sounds like there is still a bit of the game waiting for me. i don't know where the haligtree is or how to access it. when i get back to it i will have forgotten everything anyway, like what is remaining to be cleared etc.

"stroke me, for i wish to orgasm" hard to say. i think there's kind of an advantage in that you're probably going to be more likely to play the game as intended, e.g., using spirit ashes and summons in boss encounters. soulsborne players are loathe to enlist help but a lot of the encounters in this game are really tuned with the expectation that there's going to be more than one body present in the arena. you will likely struggle a lot at first but if you can get past margit you should be able to handle most of the rest of what it throws at you

learn to treat combat like a rhythm game. every enemy has a set amount of moves and you'll start to recognize which move they're about to do when they start an attack.

don't be greedy with your attacks, when there's an opening go in for 1 to 2 hits and then get out, wait for your next opening, repeat. sometimes you have to wait a long time to even go in for an attack, it's all about patience. play slow and methodical

find a weapon that feels good, upgrade it, use spirit summons. use the npc summons outside boss gates. putting points into health if nice but doing more damage is good too

nice! i cleared leyndell on my new NG file last night at SL60, been running night and flame. after collecting the magic and flame buffs and upgrading it to +9 it's honestly stupid. spent my midgame boss bounty on vigor and mind, tyrna pump these bars for mountaintops and beyond. i need to do some cleanup in the early game areas though, still need to take out volcano manor and radhan and do ranni's quest so i can get access to mimic tear and tiche. almost done with seluvis', which i skipped entirely on my first playthrough.
