i've tried grabbing them a couple times on instacart earlier in the week but they're never actually available. at this point there's really no need, this is more or less confirmation i've got it - i'm not aware of any other scenario that involves a complete sensory loss like this. it's not at all like the usual dampening of taste/smell that comes with congestion/colds/flu etc., i have never experienced anything like it. a freshly brewed dark roast cawfee has basically zero flavor, and i can stick my face directly inside a scented candle and i pick up absolutely nothing. it sucks and i do not recommend it!

Re: stormy
My mom had that happen (pre covid) and never got her sense of smell back.
While yoir case sounds like covid certain viruses can attack nerves and damage your sense of smell that aren’t covid (colds snd shit). Considering how long you have been sick other than send you in as a statistic not much they can do at this point unless you go south (you won’t)).
Its criminal how hard tests are to find righr now. Zero planning is inexcusable.

I really need to get the booster done. But the second I'm out of work the sard kicks in and I am a lump on the couch.

Re: stormy
Yeah it affects everyone differently. My mom had that with a mild cold. ENT said viruses sometimes attack the nerves in the nose and do that shit. Cousins had Delta they said that was horrible.
