Off today - went to Ikea and bought some wing chairs and loaded them a piece at a time into my car (because the boxes were too big) in -15 weather. Afterwards i dropped by Costco just because. been chilling at home drinking beer and cawfee since. Gotta work tomorrow and then off again on Sunday - might try to do some more cross country skiing that day.

One of the best things about living in this area is how much shit I have access to in a pretty short trip. It makes for some fantastic weekend road trip action

Eh, if you can still get around and don't really need a car I'd keep saving on those expenses. I have a fellating lover my age who doesn't drive and I can't even imagine how much he's saved never having to pay for gas, insurance, maintenance, and/or a car payment.

i have to depend on 2 or 3 people to take me anywhere not within walking distance and if i want to go hiking or shopping out of town it's even more of a planning issue. just bored honestly, would really like to get up and go shopping or do whatever whenever i feel like it
