I really want to see the black phone that hit streaming yesterday but it’s still $20 to rent. Going to wait a bit.

Just finished Stitches
The Black Phone was the first movie i saw in thesters in years. I heard it called popcorn horror and thats perfect its horror for non horror fans. Its not horribly gory or anything the average movie goer couldn’t handle. Def worth a watch just not for $20

Tokyo Zombie, but that's more of a horror/comedy. Saw X before that and it was pretty good. 70s vibes and plenty of fun kills and gratuitous nudity. Except for that one scene that definitely didn't need it

Lamb is about as much of a horror movie as The VVitch. They're both misclassified as such which I think throws people off when they see them.

Re: Last HORROR movie you watched
yeah i am torrenting a lot of stuff lately. at some point, all of streaming services colluded with an agreement to stop hosting any movie anyone would ever want to watch, so i'm back on my piracy bullshit.

Anything you want to see
There are tons of good horror and newish movies available its lesser known older films that can be hit or miss. Ive had to use torrents for older stuff a lot.

Not a big horror movie fan, but I did revisit Hellraiser recently because it was free on youtube. It's kind of weird that in the original one Pinhead is only in about five minutes of it, but his character is what the movie is best known for. I think it was a similar situation in Silence of the Lambs with Hannibal Lector's role.

Re: Last HORROR movie you watched
I am currently watching Svengoolie who is showing The Devil’s Rain (1975) which stars Ernest Borgnine, Eddie Albert, William Shatner, John Travolta, Keenan Wynn, Tom Skerritt, Joan Prather, Ida Lupino, and Anton LaVey. Only about 20 minutes into it and so far I’m impressed.

Re: Last HORROR movie you watched
very minor part, apparently ho was more of a consultant on the film and just played a bit part (see below: Travolta, Borgnine, LaVey)
fun fact: at a later point in the film William Shatner is possessed and is shown with hallowed out eyes using a facial mask. said mask was later used in Halloween (1978) that Micheal Myers wore.
another fun fact: the opening credits feature prominently the works of Dutch master Hieronymus Bosch.
overall it was a very stupid but enjoyable 1970's horror film.
