Movies and Booze
Dumb and Dumber absolutely holds up. I haven't actually seen it in 10, maybe 15 years?

Haven't seen it since it was in the cheap theaters. So that would have been late 96 or early 97? Just never really did it for me when it comes to the chuckles.

Re: Movies and Booze
I recently got drunk and watched the 90's version of Independence Day. I don't know if I would have liked it as much if I was sober, and it doesn't hurt that while intoxicated I actually enjoyed the obvious shitty elements of the film along with how unnecessarily long it is, but goddammit I stand by that decision to have wasted those precious two and half hours of life

Watch the Blues Brothers the other night. I had been many, many, many years since I had seen it and damn I forgot what a great film that is. Wife and I were cracking up during most of it and I had forgotten about all the great musicians who made cameos in it as well.
