Yay ir nay?
I am very pro chillies i love spicy food but i also like to taste other flavors so I have my limit. That said i hate working with them even wearing gloves they burn my hands. End result is worth it though.

Re: Chilli Peppers
Ghost pepper (if its real) is too much for me. Though a lot of things labeled ghost, carolina reaper, scorpion are not really made with those peppers or are so watered down jalapeno is spicier. Great example the ghost pepper chips at trader joes.

Re: Chilli Peppers
yeah it's not pure ghost pepper sauce, it's mixed with jalapeno i think. it's pretty hot, much moreso than your average jalapeno based sauce, but not incapacitating. i have had a real-deal ghost pepper sauce before and it was way past the limits of what i can consider enjoyable

Re: Chilli Peppers
Jalapeño, Fresno, Serrano, Poblano, Hatch, Thai Chili, Habanero, and Shishito peppers are my jam. I like to think my spice tolerance is pretty high but I went to a Songkran (Thai New Year) festival not long ago and got some hot papaya salad and hooooooly shiiiiiiit was that one of the spiciest things I’ve ever eaten. I had an opportunity to get a medium papaya salad from the same vendor a few weeks later and while still spicy as all what the heat was a bit more tolerable.

Re: Chilli Peppers
Habanero peppers is generally when it gets too spicy to be enjoyable for me. I understand the appeal of getting up there on the Scoville scale to add something special to a dish, but my sinuses and eyes have a pretty limited threshold. I don't enjoy snot and tears pouring out of my face while trying to enjoy a meal.
