Why would you? Embrace the bald and shave it all off.

Baldness doesn’t seem to run in my family (most went grey in their 30s/40s) but if I ever do start to go bald I’m just gonna rock the shaved head.Methuselah Honeysuckle wrote: ↑13 Mar 2023, 22:39Why would you? Embrace the bald and shave it all off.

my hair is getting thin and my forehead is growing, will look like strapping young lad era devin townsend soon
considered fighting it but it's whatever. i already wear a beanie most of the time so i'll keep doing that and just buzz my head when it starts to look really pathetic

Mine for sure has gotten thin over the years. Power alleys all day but the middle is still pretty there.

Re: Male pattern baldness
As requested by Luke. March 2020. So yea Nick I have done the bald thing but I've got some scars at the back of my head from fighting my brother as a kid all the time that show prominently when hair grows out. So not tenable.

Good thing you don't spend much time staring at the back of your own head

I don't stare at the top of my head either, which is where the balding is happening . And that's the whole point. People can see it, it's not that pretty. It's three scars close to each other where my head got cut and bled.Methuselah Honeysuckle wrote: ↑14 Mar 2023, 19:52Good thing you don't spend much time staring at the back of your own head

Re: Male pattern baldness
Not sure as to the degree of baldness on my head although I'm sure it's there but sard prevents me from taking a closer look.
My philosophy is that I've grown really tired of hair maintenance in general thus I just shave my head every month.

Re: Male pattern baldness
about 17 years ago i noticed i had some temporal balding, and was very concerned at the time. i used minoxidil briefly - maybe a month or two. however, in the last 16 years it progressed very little. it has progressed further in the last last 6-12 months than it did in the previous 16 years. id rather i didnt go bald, but i care so much less now

Re: Male pattern baldness
you can still bang whatever your hair looks like. i got scolded for doing it at the unwound show a couple weeks ago though. i guess i harshed that killjoy's vibe which i felt a little bad about. but why are you going to a GA show if you want to live a life of still contemplation
