This weather is bringing out the fucking assholes on dirtbikes and four wheelers. I wish them nothing but paralysis and an incredibly painful death.

Re: april
i saw morbid angel last night. sadly missed vitriol because we left really late. only caught a few revocation songs also but they fucking killed it, what a band. i saw kyle from vitriol rocking out to summoning redemption on the side of the stage, he was loving it. and when morbid went into the next song (a new one) he literally just stood and watched, no movement at all i thought that was fascinating
the morbid set was good but had weird moments. cincinnati is steve's hometown so he was really excited, holy shit what a vocalist. steve has some of the most powerful vocals i've ever heard live, unreal. he's always been a favorite of mine but even more now.
the new drummer charlie did a fantastic job, i had my doubts from youtube videos but he was great. his snare was so loud it hurt my ears though. vadim did great as well even though his stage presence is severely lacking and dull. i watched him closely and the man does have great technique and was perfectly on time.
and trey was in his own world, incredibly odd to be honest. for the most part he played great but there were a handful of moments throughout the show where he acted really bizarre. he would occasionally walk over to the mic and say some weird shit or ramble. i've never seen him do that in all the vids i've ever watched. the lights at the venue seemed to really bother him, he acted like he couldn't see at all. during a few songs he would stop playing and just throw his arms out like something was wrong. during praise the strength he threw his arms out mid riff like there was an issue but i couldn't see anything wrong or the stage hands, he started playing again after a few seconds. that happened a few times.
oh and also i could hardly hear treys guitar when he solo'd, really pissed me off
i really disliked the set list, it was 4 or 5 new songs which i didn't know at all except for one or two. the rest of the songs i really enjoyed, stuff from heretic, gateways, covenant. i really wish they played some formulas or domination though.
overall i had a good time and i was really happy to see trey and steve. i loved watching treys playing up close and it was cool to see him really vibe with the music while he was playing. also the crowd was great, literally everyone in the venue was headbanging to summoning redemption

Re: april
sounds like a great time
been on the fence about going next week since i have so many other shows this month, and dead congregation is the night before. mostly just the setlist this tour is very boring, but i'll probably wind up going
april continues to rack up the w's. finally got my broken ass stove replaced a couple days ago, celebrated and bought a le creuset skillet on sale. it will outlive me. i made a steak with it tonight and it came out superbly. leftovers for a luxe-ass breakfast burrito. got some dough rising in the fridge, gonna do a pizza on that bitch tomorrow night

What was the sale price? I just can't see paying up for that brand when there's other that do it just as well.
You should get yourself a Dutch oven and make lots of wonderful things though

Re: april
a hundo, marked down from like 180. which is still a lot to spend on a fancy pan, but also it looks way cool and is the literal last one of its kind i will have to buy. so a bit of a premium wasn't so difficult to swallowMethuselah Honeysuckle wrote: ↑09 Apr 2023, 11:41What was the sale price?
