How are your neighbors?
Loud? Annoying? Nosey? Chill? Friendly? Ever had them over at your house for any reason?

Re: How are your neighbors?
The ones we share a driveway with are great people.
Father and mother with 2 young daughters.
She works at the family doctor and he's a veteran army medic, currently a firefighter, first responder and special home caregiver. We had them over after we just moved in. Always up for a chat, cawfee or a beer. I sometimes end up working alongside the hard-on bearer as we're both first responders in our village/neighbourhood.
Other neighbour is a womang that's rather asocial. Never says anything and always annoyed and grumpy with the world. Screw that bitch. But no noise from either of them at all.
It's a world of difference between where we live now compared to our previous place in the city, where humanbeings became an annoyance instead of people. Here we're all friendly to one another and we give each other space.

They exist and we ignore each other except for the occasional wave.

i don't have any neighbors in this apartment which has been a blessing but there is a commercial space below me which has hosted some small businesses over the years. they've all been quiet but for the last 2-3 years its been a hair salon that has been pretty fucking annoying at times

Re: How are your neighbors?
only one neighbour. our rental is south-facing, has a tall wall on the north blocking off another residential community and a moat on the east (and south separating the road from our place). i like having two sides blocked off by a canal, castle style. our driveway goes over it. when we moved in the house on the west side was empty, but the owners moved in about five months ago. nice retired german chap named uwe and his wife. has 400 succulents. i try not to get water on them when i water the rapidly growing tree hedge that separates the properties. before those were planted we had zero privacy between us, which i did not like. now it's 50% obscured but increasing rapidly.
uwe, apart from liking cacti, does not drink beer, and uses duolingo a lot. i give him and his beer drinking friends beer when they have gatherings outside, he gives me various cakes his wife bakes. he feeds my dog treats through the hedge. loves beagles. that's all i got
he has never been over to my place, all our interactions are across the fence

I've only met a few of them but they seem like ok folk. Mostly keep to themselves.

Same. Most interaction I had was this past winter when we all helped each other get ours cars unstuck out of the snow after a bad storm. Otherwise everyone just minds their own business.

don't interact with the neighbors on one side, banged the one on the other like five years ago when i was about a drink shy of blackout territory. which was a terrible idea because she is insane, but thankfully my egregious violation of the 'dont shit where you eat' principle had very limited blowback

They seem fucking stupid for the most part. The way they reacted to the COMPLETELY OBVIOUS "crash" was insane but they have been quiet lately. Probably realizing the "marathon" lol. Stupid old fuckheads really. The good ones on the side still haven't fixed the fence although don't seem like cunts.

They are ok. Retired couple on left, married couple with kids on right, someone having loud sex once in a while upstairs.
