I still use the compy-tron for streaming and YouTube so if I’m on I’ll hit up some sites while I’m at it. Otherwise, it all mobile.

Some programs for hobbies/jobs don’t work great on tablets or phones so you need a laptop or a desktop for them.

Laptops and pcs will never go away completely (at least in the near future) but i could see them becoming more niche sonce its a huge expense thats not necessary for everyone

desktops in particular are already very niche. far cry from the late gloryhole era /early 2000s!

I still do. My main PC is from around 2011, it brings me so many good memories so I'll keep it running until it dies.

I haven't used a laptop in years. I have a desktop for the serious work and games. For browsing in bed it's my phone.

I'm the type that still keeps my PC on literally the entire day until I go to bed. It's my all-in-one (games, music, work, intraweb social media-ing, online shopping, etc.) kinda thing.

Yes, we do. I use both Lazada and Shopee, both of which are very popular here. 95% of the stuff I buy nowadays is usually from those two apps, from band shirts to things like a foglight switch for a car.

yeah i have been 100% on lazada in thailand since 2021, it's great for some stuff, but shit for others. thailand taxes your imports, so like if i buy some jeans online from the u.s. to my address in australia, it will be free shipping, arrive in 4 days. if i buy the same jeans from the u.s. from thailand, i have to pay +30% tax/customs, plus they stop the package on arrival at customs and open it up, then it takes longer to get to your house. but lazada doesn't have that problem importing from china, no extra customs, and quick delivery. for the china and local shit

Over here, there's a lot of stuff that's significantly discounted online compared to when you see these same exact products at a mall and/or a store.

Nowadays, my usual shopping routine would be going to the mall and checking out the stuff that I like then I'd go open up Lazada on my phone, search for said product, add to cart, and click checkout. :ba:

Speaking of it the meetings, I need to get a new webcam soon as the one I have now has the quality of a homeless beggar's feces.

I'm looking at the Logitech C920 HD Pro. Not looking at something too fancy but too cheap and shit either, just enough for clear 1080p Zoom meetings.

I still use a laptop at home for internet, games, music, etc. Also have my old Windows XP desktop PC still going strong. I try and limit my phone usage, mainly use it for calls/texts and Messenger. Not interested in having a million apps constantly sending notification and being irritating.
