Re: win
that dude is a moron. I would have laughed hard if the cop pulled him over just to scare the shit out of him.

Hahaha
I think if a cop ever pulled me over for not wearing a seat belt I'd have to bite my tongue to keep from saying "are you fucking kidding me?" I always drive with one on, but the fact it's a law for adults to wear one has always struck me as odd.

Do you mean if it's discovered that you weren't wearing a seat belt in an accident they can deny or limit coverage because you were technically breaking the law?
I always just assumed the law was enacted as another stream of revenue for the vice squad.

The fine itself is only $25 here. Its really not worth the time they waste writing a ticket for the shit.

Re: win
For some reason there's an entire TV ad campaign here that basically threatens viewers into wearing a seat belt (click it or ticket, I think the line is). I don't know who funds that series of commercials, but they come on frequently during the evening news.

Re: win
I was with a fellating lover when he got pulled over for running a stop sign. He wasn't wearing his seat belt, and the cop didn't even look.

Need a new signature? Why not Zoidberg? (V) (;,,;) (V)
