i only ever watched this and the sequels the one time and i never read any clive barker books

i do remember it was a pretty fun film, a bit of a cult classic, some excellent moments ... and that the sequels got silly, typical kinda early gloryhole era B movie excesses

i should watch the original again :xx:

of course big influence in metal, gets sampled and referenced so much, even tho i don't remember much from the movie i feel like i know it just from pop culture osmosis

I never saw the sequels, i avoid horror sequels.

My boyfriend makes me see them sometimes but usually I can avoid them.

They are remaking or have remade everything Doogie Howser, Fantasy Island, Lost Boys, Halloween, doesn't matter if the original was good or not if it was popular they are remaking it.

I just watched this for the first time, I enjoy the premise but I know to only watch a few more, after that it goes to shit?

I saw the new Candyman in the cinema recently, that was probably equal to the original (which I ENJOYED THOROUGHLY)
