Stephen from 1.0 and 2.0

It's been 15 years...So many nostalgia feels. I recently switched to a windows pc, after using mac for 10 years. This meant that I could finally connect my old external hard drive that I had from way back. Looking through old videos and pics and such, I was reminded of this place. I am now 31
I remember a bunch of you and a bunch I probably dont. I can't even remember what my usernames were.
Air rock, jorsh, neckred, skinner, dusty shutters,, ryan, rhino, vahmpy, lavabug, cryptic smell, Loki, The1jihad, Tara, all the other admins...
anyway, this is a total mindfuck. Hello again.

I haven't really played much in the passed couple of years. Last thing I did was a few years ago which I will post at some point. I definitely hit a peak of playing tech death stuff and would practice like 6-8 hours every day. But then I sort of just went into a more classic metal/punk/rock kinda thing. I cabby arsed to do anything technical, I like a lot more simpler music these days. I was on a Les paul for a bit actually, too!

For years I actually mostly played a Strat and went through a hardcore/punk/far away from metal phase. It changed how I looked at music. The last couple years, been back into metal a lot too. That's cool you messed with a Paul for a bit too. What really sold me with the Pauls is the slightly shorter scale, it gives a great excuse for heavy gauge strings. The locking tuners are great too, changing strings is light speed.
That's awesome to hear, having a ton of other musical interests really makes the metal seem heavier. To me the art of song writing is really even more amazing than how many BPM or how techy something is.
Likewise, good to see you. It's funny because I'm not always on here, but happened to check yesterday.
