2 and 3 were the best Civ games for me...everything else that followed are basically rehashed versions of their predecessors with better graphics

My all time favorite is Star Trek Birth of The Federation but I can understand that it's a niche thing - only Trek fans will really appreciate it.
I remember Stardrive being one of my favorites as you can design your own ships. Too bad the developer didn't continue with the series.

I still play to it today.
I play the modded versions from armadafleetcommand.com. The game is better than ever today thanks to those modders.
