The more I think about replacing Disco D with someone other than Tucker, it just seems like a bad idea. Personally Erik as frontman would be too stale. He does a great job in hate eternal because of the type of band it is. But Morbid A.ngel to me is more than that, has more character and personality, which is why I like them more. You don't just need brute energy and vocal power. Luckily Tucker pulled threw by having a mighty stage presence and fantastic sounding vocals. On the other hand Disco D is a little too off into the salesman, mr charming persona to be taken too seriously. But if he could tap into his time in the band when he was like late 20's or 30 then he really could rightfully claim his throne as the only frontman. It just seems too far into their career (given their age) to consider radical lineup changes.
A drastic line up change like that will never happen. The band have been doing this "best of"-kind of setlist with David Vincent for 6 years now, they've done a new album that became somewhat of a flop. In acouple of years both Trey and David will be 50, and Trey is loosing his passion more and more. It's just a matter of time 'til they break up.

I could say this or that (for ex. Erik and his terrible live impressions of Brunelle's solos etc.), but let me put it this way: having Thor in the band is their smallest problem (if problem at all) right now.
yeah. I have no problem thor being in the band as long as he doesn't get to write too many of their songs though. I like 10 more dead ( I believe it was his creation ) but Blades for Baal doesn't gel very well for me because it sounds too much like his other bands stuff. I would go as far to say that that song sounds out of place on an already sparse and messy record. Trey should have written a death metal song in place of that one I reckon. I like Zyklon and some Myrkskog but I don't want to hear it on an MA record.
More Trey (lava) less David (latex, whips, dildos..) Pete (the fuckin feet) imagine the magic!....or the absolutely terrible bullshitty fail, but like said I don't wanna hear leftover songs from destructhor or those clicky shitty (yet good) drums from tim, I think if the new album had the guitar tone of formulas mixed with heretic and the kick drum sound of malevolent creation's Retribution and Tom and everything else of covenant and snare of domination with covenant/existo vulgoré style vocals it would be awesome sounding, just a spontaneous burst of thought. What do you guys want the new album to sound like?
get fucking rid of vincent and maybe morbid angel wont be gay anymore
Vincent was alright back in the day but he's a total salad bar overall
