Steve's new band is called Malefic Throne and he's accompanied by Gene Palubicki and John Longstreth, both from the legendary Angelcorpse of course 
I remember having a chat on tour with Trey back in the late 90's, when he was really blown away by Angelcorpse and Gene in particular, although Gene was really heavily influenced by The Man Himself of course. So when Erik announced his department after 'Gateways', I always thought Gene would make a great chance in becoming their new tour guitarist. Obviously it was Tony who got the job, but it's great to see there is a new connection now with Gene and MA through this new band. As a tribute I should get "Exterminate" and "The Inexorable" out of the closet. Those were beastly great and fruital records!!
