Never really been a huge Vader fan bu, after watching this video, I may have to check out more of their stuff.



I never really think Slayer live up to their reputation, death metal covers of Slayer tend to be great, and often better than the originals.

i've never heard a slayer cover that matches, let alone outdoes the original. certainly there are some good ones out there (incantation's hell awaits comes to mind but i could be way off, been several years since i've actually listened to it), but they are definitely not performed by vader.



listening to vader covering anything, literally anything, is precisely as evocative as listening to a midi transcription of the original. sure, the notes are correct and the rhythm is mostly there, but it's so mechanized and forced that it loses any power it may have possessed in its un-fucked-with form.

I agree with hard-on bearer Ignonito, that cover sounds about as intense as a box of crayons.
