DOWN To Release 'EP One' In September

DOWN entered the studio last October to begin recording the first in a series of four EPs, to be released over the next few years (with a year between EPs), each touching on a different aspect of the band's sound.

According to CD Universe, the first six-song EP, entitled "EP One", which heralds the sound of DOWN going back to its roots, with influences from BLACK SABBATH, SAINT VITUS and WITCHFINDER GENERAL, will be released on September 18.

ha, what a name. funny how they say they entered the studio to record all 4 when they really only recorded 1 so far. so its almost a year from the time they recorded it when its coming out. either way, i am happy for new down

They are hoping for late 2012/early 2013 release
