somehow it manages to sound bigger (sonically and musically) than pretty much every other hate eternal release, but have a lot of just immensely heavy catchy bits as well. plus it is more focused than fury & flames, and tighter, conceptually, than i monarch



also: if you think HE just puts out the same thing with every album kindly exit the thread without posting because they do not

Seeing them live made me go meh in a major fashion. Way too loud and shrill and just not working one little bit. Phoenix is definitely one of their best so far though. Its good and catchy and fairly original in parts.

I really don't understand why they play live with only one guitar. I've heard as many as four guitar parts playing at once in some of their songs, it seems strange to cut back that much.
