I wouldn't describe them as deathcore at all. they are one of those bands that are amazing on stage but almost un-listenable when it comes to their albums.

It's unconventional for its own sake. It's difficult to retain interest unless being absolutely 100% complicated and impossible to imitate is what you're going for
