The Full Lineup For The 2023 ‘Sick New World’ Festival Has Been Announced

Ahead of a then seemingly imminent official announcement, a leaked admat made its way around the internet, spelling out just who will be taking part in next year’s ‘Sick New World‘ festival. That event features headlining sets from an assortment of bands who rose to fame amid the height of the nü-metal scene.

At present, the fest is booked to take place at the Las Vegas Festival Grounds on May 13th. Per the now officially announced admat below, those planning to attend the show can expect to see sets from the following artists:

this is one of the most bizarrely incongruous lineups i've ever seen. clearly they want this to be thought of as a nu-metal festival, but then you have a ton of actually-good bands playing, and in terms of audience there's basically zero overlap between the nu-metal core and all the other stuff that you'd actually want to see. it seems like a weird attempt to confer some kind of unearned cultural cachet on nu-metal by associating it with good music?
