up to and including their self title is great. didn't really care for Deep Calleth upon Deep.

I think rebel was when they started to depart from traditional black metal and venture onto what would be known as the black n roll era of sattricon. Which was not very well received among the purists.
As far as my interests in the band are concerned, I prefer the later sounds when they matured into what they are today but I like progression.
