The mates and I were just discussing this a while back.

I may be in the minority but I wish that Rhoads had a bolt-on neck with an unfinished neck. That way, it really harkens back to the 90s professional series. I'd snag one ASAP if that were the case.

I never liked neck-through superstrats but damn that Soloist looks nice! It reminds me of Jeff Hanneman so much ( :tear: ) .

the MIJ 5xx guitars are truly unstoppable

i set my 570 up for B/C tuning because it is infinitely more satisfying to play vs my jank ass 7 string

i was struggling for awhile to get a good B standard sound on my 570. i found that 12 gauge jazz light daddario strings with a wound 3rd really did that trick. that wound 3rd is super important imo, impossible to intonate that shit with an unwound string that low

The reason for that is the 3rd string carries the most tension of all the strings. Hence the importance you mention. This is also why that string detunes the easiest.
