i dont know that i have a favorite on mop. it is the album that got me into metal really and was my favorite collection of songs for a very very long time. all i can say for sure is leper messiah and damage inc are the only songs on there that dont absolutely destroy everything with some form of win

Sanitarium, for personal reasons, all time fav 'Tallica song ever. But between The Thing That Should Not Be and Orion, then Battery, then .... oh man oh man.

MoP is da' bomb! I think their best sounding album, though I will say when it comes to raw guitar sound, RTL is a winner. But overall, damn, it is so hard.

i would say everything song on mop is either absolutely killer or great. i cant say that about rtl e.g. trapped under ice and escape

those are the two weakest tracks on rtl by miles and miles. trapped under ice is neat but its sort of like "yeah...you guys can do better."

and escape is largely

the guitar tone and overall mood on rtl are incredible. as are those great big booming drums :tr00ms: but it lacks the killer instinct kill em all sort of has and master of puppets has above all other metallica records
