lou reed wrote everything, metallica only helped to "arrange".

james even admitted most fans will hate this, and it's NOT "lou reed and metallica" or "metallica with lou reed", it's supposed to be it's own entity (ala sabbath/heaven and hell)

personally I enjoy it and as long as reed's drunken ramblings aren't present on every single track...it'll be an interesting album, more interesting than anything lars/kirk/james have been involved in for almost 15 years.
