it is a near-perfect encapsulation of the popular visual entertainment zeitgeist and that deserves recognition. i'm estimating somewhere around 70-80% of the dialogue in this version is just marvel movie quips. there's also an unbelievably cynical astroturfed social media discourse about its diverse cast, which is of course unnecessarily polarizing, but achieves its intended effect of creating an all-consuming advertising juggernaut thanks to the unhinged character of its devotees and haters alike
