They will squander it. But not enough to not win the next election because a lot of the appeal with the Rep party was due to the personal power of the Don. There is no one to take up his mantle as far as I can see, and there will be some confusion and figuring out on their end that will need to happen. This will not benefit them in the next presidential election.
