Just curious
What are you doing in your life?
Work, education etc.
What do you want too accomplish in your life?
Too begin with myself:
I own my own house,
Single and that stays that way,
I work in Logistics, witch is a steady yob and awesome colleagues.
My biggest hobby is Reptiles/Tarantulas, Nature, Historical buildings, Music and Soccer (watching)
At the moment i'm satisfied how my life is at the moment, so i need no change in my dealy routine.

extremely boring... I quit my crappy retail job a few months back and haven't been doing much since. (not that I did much anyway) Planning on moving away and going to college next year. Recently my girlfriend and I hit our 3 year mark...

I used to work at the airport, but got laid off a few months ago. I'm studying to be an interpreter. I'm bilingual so why the hell not. I'm approaching 1 year with the bf. All in all, i guess I can't complain much.

Your avatar is very bad Teresa
I've moved up the corporate ladder. Two weeks ago I received a much better job offer, at a bigger company (still local though), in a managerial position. I'm advancing at a time when people are worried about the security of their jobs.
I work for pretty much the same reason a musician works in odd jobs. To pay for the really meaningful of the two. In my case, I make no secret about it, I aim to bring socialism in this country.

I live in a house with my wife and few dogs + cats. Work 7,5 hours on weekdays and do lots of sports. So it's the usual.

my boyfriend who had just got this house with me just moved to DC for a great paying federal IT job. he said after his training is over at the end of august, he'll be able to be home only on weekends. since we signed a year lease here, i can't go anywhere, but i'm thinking about moving up to fairfax county or somehwere abouts to be with him after the lease is up. this long distance relationship crap sucks. as it is, i work alot of weekend shifts, so even when he's here, i don't see him. i'm looking at two years from now working as a federal marshall or DC vice squad...my options are open but i haven't made any firm decisions yet. i know if i stay here, i'll have the same boring shit to deal with but i can quickly advance in my current department. decisions, decisions.

yeah, but after 10 years getting a new job will be difficult for your mental habits. In this worldwide period of crysys, is better keeping the job.
p.s what's your job?

Archivist. I started right after finished school. I like my job, it's almost sure that I will take my boss place when she retires but I really hate people I work with. When I think about beeing their boss I feel sick.

I started a new job in may after being unemployed for a year. I'm a software support hard-on bearer giving support for programs like Mathematica, Origin, Minitab, etc. but I only really care about Mathematica and Origin and I'm supposed to be the Mathematica dude. My salary sucks at the moment and I can't even repair my car to drive to work so my colleague picks me up every morning. The crisis put the firm on a tight budget because nobody in the industry is buying software.

That crisis is really fucked up
Two friends of mine are also unemployed because their work had too end because of this crisis.
Dutch officials saying that the crisis might end in December this year, but bank poeple say it will end early 2010.
Who too believe? who too believe?
It's easy too say "Let the rich pay " but i don't know if it will work?
They must made a better contribution too other poeple like unemployed families etc..
In a crisis, their are always a scapegoat, for me that are the rich

Mainframe operator for a big bank, been to uni a few times, speak a few languages, play in a few bands, have a girlfriend of 6 years.
Have accomplished everything I want to except riches and I'm not even sure what the point of that would be at the moment.
In a state of flux at the moment.

it's going to take more than a few months for everything to get back on track. maybe 2-3 more years or so, who knows. 2009/2010 seems like an incredibly generous estimate.

My job is secure (a long-tenured teacher), I have a lovely wife, a nice house, great feline, two killer classical guitars, so I guess I can't complain!
Hey! Why does the three-letter word for "feline" get turned into "dog"???

A lot less stress at my job since moving to a different department.
I turned 30 last month and had the best birthday blast of all time.
I'm in a new relationship that seems to be going very, very well.
I go back to school for my art shit in the fall.
Yeah, things are pretty good,

I'm waiting to hear back from Starbucks, as they have me on the line for a potential shift manager position. If I get it, I'm just going to slave away for a good 6-12 months and then see if they can't transfer me to another area (probably Colorado). If I don't get it, I'll try to apply for loans and go to the local culinary school, then try to get the hell out of this place.

Chao: good plan.
I am whoring applications for jobs in this area. I finally have some leads on trustworthy daycare, so I can get back to steady employment. My plan is to do this, then stop renting from family and get into a decent apartment where I can dig my feet in and develop a battle plan for rebuilding my career and, hopefully, obtaining some land to build on while raising my son.
