Do I do eet? I'm kinda wanting to, but really pussying out in this period. I haven't had short hair in over 10 years and I've no idea what kind of style would suit me.

I searched and it's full of people with thick black hair. I'm white as fuck and have lots of light brown/blonde thin wavy hair.

Wait, what does being white have to do with it?

Everything. I would look utterly ridiculous trying to pull off something I don't have the genetics for.

I'm going to NYC in 2 days... do I do it before, or after :oldryan:

that depends on whether you'd want to walk on the streets of NYC with a cool breeze rubbing on your temple or not

Unless you're talking about cornrows or an afro, it really doesn't matter.

when I cut mine, I didn't plan it, or even think about it much

one day I was just like "I want to cut my hair"

so I did

haven't even thought about growing it back, in the years it's been since I cut it.

it's wonderful not having to comb or brush my hair at all, sure takes me a lot longer to go through a bottle of shampoo, and hair washing is no longer a chore.

:santa:

Ive never had long hair, because I never had the patience to grow it out. My best fellating lover had long hair for most of his life though, and he said cutting it was one of the best things he's done, especially in terms of confidence.
the idea of hair cuttery has been swimming around in mein brain for a while now. but, as the general has stated, i have no idea what i would do with it stylistically if cuttage did take place.
Same here. I suppose I would like to have some length but my hair is extremely soft so I'd probably look like a hipster/emo and constantly struggle to keep it out of my face/glasses and I wouldn't look like any less of a dork.

I would totally not mind to sport a Walter White look if I didn't have a huge mole on my scalp. A large reason I grew my hair out 14 years ago was to conceal it. It was even visible with only moderate length hair.

I cut mein hair gradually. From 7 years of long hair up to mein lower back, I first had it cut it to just right above shoulder level last year. Sported that look for a few months just to get used to the shorter length after which I had it cut to just less than one inch now. :greenie:

Unless there's a comfort threshold I never managed to reach I've come to the conclusion that long hair is more trouble than it's worth. I buzzed my head about eight years ago with a #2 guard and haven't looked back since

Haven't cut mine since I was 16 (almost 28 now) and it's still long and luxurious. It may be time for it to go soon.
