i saw all three, i like some parts of it. the lore and story is total shit of course but the action is always good. and i also appreciated the judo, he does some judo like once every 20 minutes guaranteed

you don't need a convoluted or amazing story to have a solid narrative that complements the action, just as in your other mentioned film, The Raid. that is way tighter and better narrative and story-wise. i never saw the sequels though so it could be similar to JW, as the first JW was much better than its sequels story and character wise i thought

The Raid films are fucking magnificent. I need to watch them again. Oldboy as well.

Yeah that one. I never bothered with it either so I was curious if it was worth it. Which I highly doubt.

it's kind of funny looking back at keanu reeves' career - he didn't start off as an action star and yet that is what hes become. he does the vast majority of his own stunts as well and has actually trained in martial arts and close quarters combat. dude takes his roles very seriously.

These are fun even when you're not a big action fan
