Yea the beach was nice, but it's a really dirty city. Also the smell of weed was every where.

How's the homeless problem currently?
I heard it's quite bad.

I stayed at this cheap hotel called "Hollywood Historic". It's close to Sunset Blvd. Toured around the area, Hollywood, Santa Monica, Griffith Observatory grounds, etc. I had one full day to do all of this. It was a 6.5 hour drive each way from Phoenix.
