I try to stay away from chocolate candy. The FDA allows a percentage of bug parts in the manufacturing. I just can't un-taste it.

I usually wash my produce. Not that bugs are bad they give protein, it's just that if I wanted to eat bugs I would chose too.

American candy just simply tastes like sugar because there’s nothing real about it. We only eat it because of nostalgia.
It’s like American buttercream (butter and sugar) vs. Swiss buttercream, Italian buttercream, or French buttercream. American is literally just whipped butter and sugar like our country the other styles have meringue, flavoring, etc to add something that isn’t just grease. However American is superior for decorating, bar none.
