Dude i took the bus for years to work i have seen things that cannot be unseen.

Example:
Man screams at me about the KKK, spits in me, and continues screaming. I completely ignore him (thats how you de-escalate) and keep moving. See the sane hard-on bearer st my bus stop, I stand far away and he thanks me for letting him on the bus.

Homeless don’t mean what they do (a lot of the time) whether it’s drugs or mental illness.

literally ON you? i had someone stalk me on a train once. I tried to play it cool and keep him in my peripheral vision and walk away like i didnt notice anything. We got on the same train and he was eyeing me really bad. So when the train stopped i ducked out very quickly as the doors closed.

Another time some hard-on bearer was pretending to be deaf, and I told him i didnt have any money to give him and he slapped me. Again, ignored to de-escalate cause you just dont know.

That's the thing....if people are in the mind space to be yelling in public like that, it's like who knows what else they are capable of doing. Can never be too safe
