Have you noticed the sudden about-face a lot of republican media and some politicians have done recently? It’s because a large percentage of their base has been catching and dying from this shit.
However, I don’t think they realize the Pandora’s box they opened with the “fake virus” “anti-mask” “anti-vaxx” bullshit - these people aren’t going to suddenly change their minds about it after having it drilled into their heads for over a year now….

You do understand that the rate of injury from this vaccine is higher than other vaccines (albeit still small) right?
I think its because they are forcing people who have natural anti-bodies to get vaccinated. We don’t do this for things like chicken pox because of how unnecessary and potentially dangerous it is. This scares communities who have traditionally been exploited by medicine. It isn’t just conservatives like a lot think.

So did I. Working as a medical assistant I had to get a titer, turns out I wasn’t immune so I got the vaccine.
I hope so, most I know not getting it have genuine concerns like having natural immunity.

i do think it is maybe becoming a more significant problem that so many people in society cant look at things objectively. that they instead just pick a team on some issue and hysterically dig in their heels

i think it is discriminatory to consider the delta variant to be merely a "variant". it is a virus in its own right. people shouldnt only define it by its association to what society deems to be the "normal" covid virus
