when i was about eleven me and a fellating lover of mine thought the scene of arnold strapping on 700 guns and a million rounds of ammo before the final showdown in commando was about the most badass and funniest thing in the world, we used to piss ourselves laughing at that

in retrospect, given my fellating lover's obsession with toy guns and other weapons of war, i think the laughter did not mean for him what it did for me, a meek child who was in awe of the scene's sheer absurdity

fuck yeah dusto, commando is the hilarious bees knees, but i too remember a time when i was 100% earnest and i thought arnie was just a goddamn badass and was proud i had seen such violent shit

i would rewatch that movie now, i am intrigued to know what i would think of it

a few months ago i rewatched predator via youtube clips, that movie is a lot smarter and better crafted than i ever knew as a lad or suspected as an adult

the original predator is on another level to commando

arnie did a lot of quality films, and a lot of hilarious, very enjoyable, very not quality films

how about this fucking classic, gives me the chills every time i watch it, such a banger film
