For a while. Not great if it's heavy on the protein but I found one at the supermarket that has ten grams per bar and is tasty

would be convenient to be able to take adequate nutrition in form of a drink or bar or pill a couple of times a day. eating some foods is nice sometimes, and i would like to keep that as an option. but most of the time it is inconvenient and just fuel rather than something that is enjoyable

Most protein bars and shakes are glorified, fortified, less tasty candy bars in terms of nutrients. Unless you are a senior who struggles with getting nutrition or an athlete I don’t see the need for them.
I have struggled with an eating disorder (binge eating) in the past and meal replacements can cause binging episodes or disordered eating habits. Our relationship with food is as impirtant as what we put in our bodies.
Okay what about protein shakes? Anyone drink those?
I frequently mix protein powder in with my morning oats, sometimes use it as partial meal replacement with meals that are lacking in protein. I enjoy. None of this is necessary but convenience is nice.
