I happened to have just been revisiting this, and Shane is kind of in with the people you mentioned. Maybe you'll like it. I prefer podcasts more than standup (MSSP is the best) but for a show he did for free this is pretty good imo. Looking forward to the next season of Gilly and Keeves too. Mark Normand might also be up your alley if you're into straight up jokes.

i enjoyed this.
his sketches on his youtube channel were also good
Too bad Delco Proper never really went beyond the pilot. It probably wouldn't have been anything groundbreaking, but that show had potential. Hopefully that core group gets featured again plenty on the upcoming g&k sketches.
stavvy is fucking hilarious, i gotta watch that special on youtube
I recently started checking out Cumtown clips, and Stav is annoying as fuck. His only moves are saying tiny penis, titties, pussy, and trying but failing to adapt those words and phrases into the lyrics of gloryhole era pop songs. That and laughing hysterically at what he just said or repeating an actual funny thing Nick Mullen had brought up and obnoxiously laughing from there. He's basically a fat loud uncle. On the other hand Nick Mullen is fucking hilarious, and Adam Friedland is a perfect foil. They're magic:

I agree with the Mark Normand thing. His comedy partner Joe List has kind of the same issue. Certainly funny people though.
I generally hate prank phone calls, but Nick Mullen's are the best. My understanding is that he did these out of boredom, and used his experience from working a dead end job at a call center as a way to keep them on the line for as long as possible. The number of times "pants" is said is amazing.
One of those things that's not very funny until you realize how long it's been playing out.

i think i complained about it in another thread but i feel like every comedian these days is either doing full sets of crowd work or social commentary. where are the jokes people

American stand ups are the worst. The only american comedian I think is great is Dave Chapelle.
There are quite some British, Belgian, Dutch and German legends though.
It finally happened. I'm not really a Joe Rogan fan, but MCcuster rules. Matt talking about his brief addiction to tranny porn on that big of a podcast is hilarious, mostly because he's that genuine and funny. Just telling it like it was. Not trying to make waves.
