Last day of work before my delayed vacation from September.

Everyone above me seems to think I should have ironed out all the problems from basically not operating with a department head for almost a year. I think I'm getting the end of it here, already had one foot out the door once. Only really stayed so I could put the promotion on a resume.

didnt you get a new job in a new city or something? or did i make that up

I lost 15 pounds in october unexplained but Im not complaining. Must be eating less/moving more.

Halloween was crazy, we got 250 kids (had 50 pieces left of 300 total, giving out 1 each). Got the flu shot and Covid booster yesterday - slept for 12 hours afterwards and felt like shit all day but feeling better now. Going to early vote tomorrow to get that shit over with. Looking forward to winter festivities
