used to go every week during the winters when i was a kid, don't think i've been in about 25 years now. i'd love to ski again but it's just such a huge investment before you even get to the overpriced lift tickets

I went out to Colorado a few times about 20 years ago - I was always that jackass who thought a black diamond was totally at my skill level (it wasn’t) and also weaving through paths in the trees. Always preferred snowboarding over skiing even though it’s been a looong time since I’ve done downhill - I have been doing some cross country skiing lately, mostly to get beer from the store.
