Most of us are probably doing this already. Do you take any medication for things like your cholesterol level or your blood sugar or maybe to avoid developing early diabetes or such?

Nope. Just eat good food and get enough excersize.
Only some extra vitamins/mineral supplements sometimes.

i've been taking beta blockers for like 2 or 3 years now for heart palpitations. my heart is fine according to the cardiologist i saw, they said it was probably anxiety. shit can be kind of annoying

also i've been on and off acid reflux meds for a few years. one of them made me incredibly sick for about a month and i've been too scared to take anything other than tums ever since

no, but i do have permanent low iron levels cos i don't have enough cells to carry the iron around. like if i eat iron supplements, i just poop black and can't get more iron into me.

I'm on Axotret for acne because testosterone made it bad. Both Axotret and testosterone may mess up cholesterol and triglyceride, so I was on medicine for that for about 2 months. Now it seems to be ok. I have cholesterol, triglyceride and blood sugar levels checked every 3 months. In few months I'll quit Axotret and then I'll have blood test once a year, just like everyone should.

I'm also on antidepresants, I think I will be off in few months.

Other than that I take vitamin D, vitamin B12.

I take a medication that helps with anxiety but spikes my blood pressure so im on a betablocker

Id rather just do cbd but 50+ a month or free? Insurance forces you to go where their money is. Just thankful no insulin or epi pens needed in this household its crazy what they charge for life saving meds.

it is a naming convention common to all beta blockers i believe. i take atenolol, and all the other ones i know of off the top of my head have it too. assuming there's probably some common structural dealie between them all that explains it
