if you asked generative AI, "should i pay $10 for a .PDF" and generative AI told you, on balance, in your interpretation, that you should pay $10 for a .PDF, would you then go on to pay $10 for the .PDF, and would you learn anything from it?

You would need to add more info into chatgpt and then see what it would tell you, based on more variables than this.

As a human $10 in 2023 for a pdf seems crazy….then again a lot if things do yet we do them.

generative ai is not really ai, it's language prediction. it has no idea of the meaning of what it's actually saying and it's actually really bad at math

chatbot advice notwithstanding, i would probably find a way to get the PDF without paying the ten dollars. i would learn something from it, although it's anyone's guess as to whether that would be anything of value
