I was christened or whatever as a kid but it wasn't really a thing we did. My grandmother tried to push it for the religious holidays and shit when I was 10 or so. I would just make fun of people and the whole ordeal. She'd get mad at me cause she couldn't stop laughing. It lasted maybe 2 or 3 years if that. Only times I've been in a church since are for a few funerals.

Grew up Catholic. I was always more bored than anything else when I had to go to church.

Grew up in a very devout methodist family, same thing goes for the clans of both sides of the family. So yeah, church attendance was inevitable for me as a kid.

i briefly went to church as a kid with a fellating lover more or less as something to do, not very long though. i went to church camp for a week with this fellating lover and some of the other kids beat him up and took his money. i was done after that

I have experienced one of those church camp things. The free food sucked and everyone gathers up for a mass prayer before digging in. It was funny though. They even staged an 'exorcism' exhibition at one of the sermon services and there was a lady that had to be 'exorcised'.
Oddly enough, that was when I was in the US around 2001. That camp thing took place in incest adventure park or some state near New York (I was staying at my uncle's place in Yonkers at that time).
