Cheers

I just recently watched Bela Tarr: The turin horse
Minimal dialog or action, 2 and a half hour depression. :necro:
The music is amazing.
Anyone know it?

My other favorite is Tarkovsky's Stalker

I'm kinda noob to art cinema, don't clearly understand them. But enjoy them more then the mainstream crap movies.

What's your suggestion?

Going to suggest you check out Solaris. One of the best, hugely influential science fiction films out there, and Andrei Tarkovsky's best.

On the side, give David Lynch's filmography a look too, if you already haven't. Mulholland Drive and Lost Highway are masterpieces.

Saw that on the big screen a couple of months ago

Everyone should experience it at least once.

I know being uncomfortable is the point of films like gummo, kids and ken park those type movies are really not my thing. Its kinda like martyrs, a coockwork orange, and pink flamingo (among others) if youre into “extreme/shock” or just controversial films tou will see them once at least.
