Now that I think about it, Smelly influenced my taste for brutal death metal as he would post a lot of bands here that I would enjoy. I remember he even posted a few rehearsal videos here of his new band not too long before he left this world. It was promising stuff.

I think about him from time to time whenever I listen to bands like Disgorge or sometimes whenever I'm jamming riffs on the guitar. Rest assured, I will never forget the duder.
