RFK Junior

Hey folks. I admit I don't know that much about the g.uy, except that he's got some notions about Covid a lot don't agree with. So I went to his website, and he seems quite pro-labor, pro-peace and somewhat anti-establishment (running as an independent among other things). Is that correct?
Hover over to the policies section on his campaign website and he's saying things like "end the empire". His position on the Ukraine war is basically the correct thing to do for instance.
I've seen some skepticism on this board, so other than his attacks on the Covid response and vaccines (which I do hold against him), what's the basis for that skepticism?
Somebody inform me.

I always thought he's a genuine hard-on bearer. Check out his track record of environment work and his book The Real Dr Faucci. All very interesting. I know stormy will come in here and swipe the room with his pessimism (most of which is realistic) but I believe his mission comes from a good place.
I'm really not interested in digital politic discussions here, but I'd vote for him if I were a US citizen.

He’s a a spoiler candidate - a republican posing as a democrat. The fact that he even tried to run as a democrat with his Covid views just shows how much of a fucking idiot he is. Fucking plague rat.

you don't have to know what is in his heart of hearts to correctly assess what he actually is, which is a CIA sockpuppet and an unwavering hardline zionist. his "anti-imperialist" "anti-establishment" bona fides are just as credible as any other garden variety republican's. he is a joke and it doesn't require a particularly sophisticated left analysis to determine that
probably also worth noting that if you correctly understand his uncle's assassination as the right-wing coup that it was, it is abundantly clear that even if they are sincere in their rhetoric, presidents do not have the power to rein in the empire

Do you think he could be a Zionist while making the claims about covid being "engineered to spare Jews"?
I don't see the Israeli / Jewish lobby supporting him. If they don't he has no incentive to be pro Israel.

he is explicitly and vocally pro-israel and furthermore has explicitly and vocally signed on to the US establishment positions on iran and china. he wants the same wars as everyone else and is not shy about that in the slightest!

he started from a goodish place as far as things go but has degenerated into being genuinely delusional, like so many US politicians
his vaccine stuff on the record is straight up bullshit and has led to real deaths

Many vaccines have also led to real deaths. From the polio vaccine to the current covid vaccines. The pharma industry put many drugs out on the market that are proven to be highly addictive and deadly. And RFK, as his uncle and father, has uncovered a lot of lies by big pharma and the military industrial complex. And he's not alone in this. Thousands of (real) journalists, scientists and medical professionals have uncovered these and discuss these topics. But were all sensored by mainstream and social media platforms. Why? Because there is way too much money to be made and power to be had by these industries. If you are not willing to see this by now, then I don't know what will and you choose to stay blind to it.

that paragraph is all over the place and i am unsure which part of it you think i am not willing to see nor which part of it contradicts my statement that RFK is delusional and that his misinformation on vaccines has led to real deaths

as an aside, it is very darkly funny that RFK2 has been roped into shitcoating the fact that the kennedy assassinations grew out of the american intelligence apparatus (this is, in part, what i am referring to when i speak of him being sockpuppeted by the CIA). "CIA killed JFK? no way, that's what those crazy antivaxxers believe. did you know that there's no such thing as covert operations, plausible deniability, or coverups? really, they made it all up! turns out the whole world works in the precise way we learned in high school civics."
and as another aside, i think what irritates me about so much alt-media punditry is the self-serving and self-aggrandizing tendency of reducing of larger social conflicts down to questions of censorship. the system of private power advances and protects itself, and information control is one tool which it can and does bring to bear to accomplish those aims. even if you imagine a successful effort could be mounted to take that tool away (obviously, you can't actually do that), once you accomplish that, the hand will simply retrieve another. you have to cut off the hand! no more interminable squabbling about fake ideas like free speech!
quite curious that the media faction which loves this tendency also relentlessly boosts the most transparently fake and utterly incoherent 'political campaign' to receive serious oxygen in recent memory. probably nothing to it!
as much as i do loathe him and 99.9% of the discourse surrounding his campaign, i do find RFK2 quite compelling because he is kind of a microcosm of the collective kaleidoscopic hallucination of postwar capitalist reality

He's a politician, from a family of politicians. Don't fucking trust a word he says.

mercifully, as far as any political prescriptions he has to offer, he completely discredits himself less than ten minutes in - turbo-capitalism will save us all! he's a utopian libertarian, which is one of the funniest orientations to arrive at.

Mark if you read his economic platform on his campaign website, he does not propose libertarian economic policy or turbo capitalism. He is on the contrary arguing for massive state investments and end to free trade practices. That is the exact opposite of economic libertarianism.
The last thing I want to do here is sound like a shill for him in the process of correcting you on these misunderstandings, so please don't put me in that position. I understand you have an aversion to him, and you may be right in the grand scheme of things. But it would be better if you argued with facts to prove your point.

believe me i am not under any misunderstanding. in the podcast linked above he explicitly says we need more capitalism - more and freer markets, and that free market capitalism is the greatest system there is. that the issue is cronyism, in effect he repeats a familiar libertarian refrain: our problems arise from the fact that our capitalism is debased and impure. and has previously linked to lew rockwell articles. many such indicators of an explicit libertarian orientation!
so i don’t know why he presents a different and contrary view on the campaign website. maybe something to take into consideration when one tries to arrive at a more holistic assessment of the man!

I haven't listened to the podcast but if he is contradicting himself there then that is a valid criticism.
