I drink like 4:1 non alcoholic beer vs regular beer these days. There are a lot of great NA brews available nowadays.

i do not enjoy it the non-alcoholic beer, for it is not beer
if i want to drink it the non-alcoholic drink, i have many other options i vastly prefer
if cold and sparkling, personal favourite is grapefruit juice and soda
otherwise cawfee in the morning then TEA TEA TEA MORE TEA

Never got the hang of tea or cawfee, as I don't like hot drinks at all (hell, I just don't like heat full stop) and can't stand the taste of cawfee either; if I'm not doing the alcohols then my tipple of choice is ice cold Pepsi Max, or just good ol water. Ice cold, natch.

I mostly now regret it whenever I do have some. The impairment after even just two drinks wastes an evening, and results in a subpar morning after.

The magic number is 3. If I get past that the switch has been flipped and I am all in.

three used to sound like a good number but nowadays it's kind of a lot

just, like, volume-wise, three beers feels rather uncomfortable on the ole tummy

it's not pain it's a general "oof" discomfort followed by the desire for sweet, sweet sleep

many beers can put you to sleep but it is not a restful sleep and it makes for miserable doings on the day after

in this period, i am putting a big premium on quality sleep and especially on dreaming, which i don't do if i've had too much beers or screen time before bed

i had an awesome dream the other night after six pints of lager, i dreamed that i found a truck, that i actually owned, a white truck with cool stuff in it, and i was so excited to find it, and i thought about what i could do with it, it was a good dream
unfortunately i snored horribly and my wife had a terrible sleep because of it

Athletic

Also,
Sierra Nevada NA Golden and NA IPA are good
Sam Adam’s NA Just The Haze
Brooklyn Brewery NA Special Effects series
Heineken 0.0 is surprisingly good (I don’t really like regular Heineken)
Stella Artois - Liberte
