I recently got a medium firm mattress after sleeping on a firm for many years. The first handful of nights I woke up with a sore lower back, but I think that was just my body reacting to the change. Now I am waking up feeling good and I think I made the right decision. Also, getting a compressed mattress from amazon delivered to your front door is the way to go!

You got one of those memory foam deals?

It’s one of those memory foam ones that comes in a box - I forget the name. Bought it 7 years ago - still holding up great. I guess you could call it semi-firm? Whatever it is it’s comfortable as fuck.

Everyone thinks aboit yhe mattress but pillows matter too especially for neck issues

yeah investing in good pillows improved my sleep game dramatically, i dunno how i lived with $20 target pillows for as long as i did

Im a migraine and tmj sufferer so I learned about good pillows in my 20s

i bought my first pair of actually good pillows uhh january of last year. so i didn't figure this out until my 40s

Memory foam/spring hybrid. Elitespace it's called or some shit

Most of those bed in a box deals I've seen are just ein foam. Slept on those a few times and never really felt all that comfortable.

i am such an idiot i've been sleeping on my couch for like 3 years because my mattress is too soft and hurts my back

i have slept on 1,000 different mattresses over the years. don't own one of my own at present. but prefer very firm, futon style, also happy with foam on the ground

The surface I sleep on is a huge deal. I've had back problems going back to 2019. To rectify those I've been using a mattress topper. Here is my Amazon review of a previous purchase.
