This trailer's been out for a bit now but Im really excited for this. I fucken loved the anime and the manga sequel. While it looks like they altered the story some, this movie has the potential to be full of win.

I enjoyed the anime, but it was too short and should have had some sequels or back story to it to explain more to people who can't be bothered to read comic books.

I agree that the anime was too short. However, there were no comic books before the anime -- that is where it began. The only thing was a graphic novel sequel Blood: The Last Vampire 2000

Ah that's interesting, I just totally assumed there would be an assload of manga and the film would just be a little snippet.

Statistically, that's a safe bet to make. That seems to be the formula.
