but gen is the superior avatar!



and character, at least in the latest incarnation of SSF4. he's also the most cumbersome to use by far, so pretty much nobody plays him and very few pro players know the matchup well. xian is the only pro that uses gen, and is surely the only person to have ever advanced so far in a major tournament with him

i willl not play the real tournament but just i am playing it the local friday party tournaments.



also today i am winning mk 9 with scorpion after very much drinking in party tournaments and will win 2000 rs.

yeah i don't enter any tournaments either because there isn't really a scene for it where i live. closest place that has weekly tournaments is about 45 minutes away, and there's only one player that shows up that's actually good and competes in majors. at this point i'm too old to compete seriously anyway, but still i love watching top level players. fighting games for me are like baseball/football/basketball etc. are for the average american



i don't gamble on my matches because none of the friends i play with would ever bet against me, i routinely crush them all in pretty much every fighting game we play. only exception is my former roommate who's definitely much better than i am in soul calibur. anything 2D though, they don't stand a chance
